We had an amazing stay in a spacious room with a beautiful mountain view and enjoyed a unique dining experience that introduced us to some interesting dishes. The public and private onsens were fantastic relaxation spots, and we really appreciated having them mostly to ourselves. One small hiccup was the futons, they were a bit thin for our comfort, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. 😊

Ideal for family fun
The private onsen was amazing and relaxing after a long day. We wore those yukatas everywhere in the hotel, felt like we were living the real Japanese experience!
It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly, it was still worth it.

Stunning view, incredible dining, our private onsen with the beautiful deck overlooking the mountains and the fantastic dinner and breakfast that far exceeded our expectations, especially the wagyu beef dinner on Monday night made our stay unforgettable.
Everything was exactly right.

An exceptional experience with beautifully presented dishes, particularly the soup, was a highlight of the stay. The staff provided attentive service, making it feel incredibly personal. However, the room felt a bit cramped, and the traditional futons, while authentic, could use some improvements for comfort. Easy access to nearby attractions like Lake Ashi added to the enjoyment.

Everything about the onsen offered breathtaking mountain views, truly a highlight. The private onsen felt luxurious. It provided an excellent place to unwind after exploring. The private dining experience showcased the traditional kaiseki style, although it leaned heavily on seafood. I enjoyed the presentation, but the flavors didn't resonate with me since I'm not a fan of raw fish. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, a perfect blend of comfort and aesthetic appeal. On the downside, I found the service a bit slow at times and the ambience a little dark. The steep hill to reach the ryokan could be challenging, especially with luggage. I also encountered some minor inconveniences, like needing to master the kettle and the lack of cutlery available. Overall, the experience was delightful but had room for improvement in service and accessibility.
